Hello everyone,
I recently installed a Roadanvi 10.2” Android head unit (8GB + 128GB) in my Peugeot 208 1.6 VTi 2012.
I actually had the unit sitting in my workshop for a while and only installed it recently.
The unit works overall, and the CAN bus module is connected.
The parking sensors display correctly on the screen when I engage reverse.
However, I have two issues:
- I no longer get the parking sensor beeps (only the visual display works).
- Vehicle information such as average fuel consumption, range, etc., shows fixed values at 9999.
Before replacing the original head unit, everything was working perfectly.
The CAN box supplied with the Roadanvi unit is connected. I can access the “Factory settings” → “CAN Type” menu, but I’m not sure which CAN protocol/profile should be selected for a 2012 Peugeot 208 (phase 1).
My questions:
- Could this be caused by an incorrect CAN protocol selection?
- Is the CAN box supplied with Roadanvi compatible with a 2012 Peugeot 208 phase 1?
- Do I need a specific PSA/Valeo CAN interface to restore parking sensor sound and vehicle data?
If anyone has experienced this issue with a 2012 Peugeot 208 and an Android head unit, I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you in advance!
