Great update for my 2018 Tacoma

It's been a couple of weeks now, so I wanted to leave an objective review. The install took about an hour and was made easier with the available YT videos out there. At first it took a while to get used to the interface and the Apps. CarPlay connects fast and automatically. But at one point I did have to reboot the head unit because CarPlay refused to connect. After a few days, I felt much more comfortable with the interface and began really loving this system. The resolution is as good, if not better, than the OEM stock. The JBL audio still sounds good, although the EQ is probably a bit overkill. You don't need 30+ channels, 5-10 channels would be more than enough. Ultimately I am very happy with this upgrade. I am hoping that Roadanvi provides software and App updates/improvements for their products.

Wiring not most clear, but good customer service.

The unit works great. At first, the rear view camera didn't work, but after a quick exchange with their customer service, the CANBUS needed to be moved from the other set of wiring. I'd say, the wiring diagram isn't the most clear, it requires a bit of fiddling to figure out. But because of their knowledgeable customer service and quick response, I'll still give them 5 stars.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:MAJOR upgrade to the stock 2020 Tacoma system. Took me 30 minutes to install. It make the interior of the truck look better ascetically too. It automatically starts when you start your truck. Everything is customizable. The manual is very well played out on step by step on all components of system. Backup camera works flawlessly and I appreciate the back up park lines. 5 customizable option for it alone. And the speaker system is 10x better than stock as well. I Definitely recommend it!!

Great until CarPlay connection issues

Loved this for about 3 weeks. Had an aftermarket sub and front camera connected. All was great. Just as I was figuring out all of its bells and whistles the CarPlay stopped connecting. Tried a few suggested fixes from roadanvi with no success. Ended up returning because it was still under 30 days. Hopefully mine was just a lemon and no one else encounters this. Loved it until then.
