Hello,
I recently purchased and installed an HS-X12 system for a 2017 Toyota Rav4 Limited. I had no issues with the installation, however I noticed that when I go to reverse the car, the backup camera video sometimes works as intended, but most times it's random. The video output on the screen is either:
- fliped upside-down and mirrored
- correct and mirrored (I have to press the switch symbol on the screen everytime I back up)
- both factory and built-in telemetry are displayed
I have gone into the car settings on the unit and changed the camera from "normal" to "mirrored" but it has not fixed the issue. Is there something else I need to change in the CANBUS settings or other settings?
